Scope & hierarchy

This Policy applies to purchases made on michaelddev.com / michaelddev.eu by consumers (B2C). For business (B2B) clients, consumer withdrawal rights do not apply; refunds follow the Statement of Work (SOW)/contract. If this Policy conflicts with a service-specific page, Order/Checkout, or SOW, the specific document prevails for that item. Key definitions

  • Withdrawal (cooling-off) right: EU consumer right to cancel a distance contract within 14 days of purchase without a reason.

  • Refund (non-withdrawal): Money-back request outside the cooling-off period (e.g., failure to supply or not as described / non-conformity).

  • Cancellation/Reschedule (policy): Changing or cancelling a booked time (consultation) under the scheduling rules below.

  • Digital content: Reports, roadmaps, templates, tutorials/video access, NFTs—not supplied on a tangible medium.

  • Service completion (consultation): The call/session has been fully performed.

  • Delivery (digital):

    • Report/Template/Tutorial: access or file made available to you.

    • NFT: mint/transfer to your wallet; transaction hash = proof of delivery.

Services — Consultations

  • You may withdraw within 14 days of purchase.

  • If you ask me to start within 14 days and we begin, you can still withdraw before completion, but you owe a proportionate amount for work already performed (if the consultation started but is not finished).   • If the consultation is fully performed (after your early-start consent and acknowledgment), the withdrawal right ends.(unless proven the service was not provided as described or other cases mentioned in my policies)

Digital content

— Reports, Templates, Tutorials, NFTs

  • If you request immediate/early supply within 14 days and acknowledge that you lose your 14-day withdrawal right once delivery begins/is completed, then after delivery you cannot withdraw.

  • If you do not give the required consents and we have not started delivery, you may withdraw within 14 days.

How to exercise withdrawal

Email support@michaelddev.com with subject “Withdrawal Request – [Your Name] – [Booking/Order Date]” and include: full name, email used, order/booking details, and the statement “I hereby withdraw from my contract.”
We will confirm on a durable medium (email) and process any due refund per Section 6.

Refunds outside the withdrawal right

(when they apply)

Failure to supply

If it can be proven that I failed to deliver the purchased service/digital content according to the description of the service/SOW contract/description of digital product, you are entitled to a full refund executed within a maximum amount of 72 hours.

Non-conformity / Not as described

(Digital Content remedy ladder)

For digital content (reports, templates, tutorials, NFTs): if the item is not as described (e.g., wrong token/contract, broken/mismatched media/metadata, missing agreed sections), I will re-supply/repair within a reasonable time. If that is impossible or disproportionate, you may terminate and receive a refund.

Goodwill / billing errors

I may refund for duplicate or erroneous charges or other fair reasons at our discretion.

Not valid reasons: Change of mind; market price swings; dissatisfaction with an outcome where the service/digital content matched the description; completed consultations (unless materially not as described).

Cancellations & rescheduling (consultations)

  • equal or more than 24 hours’ notice: you may cancel or reschedule free of charge (subject to availability).

  • less than 24 hours’ notice or no-show: non-refundable, except at my discretion for fair reasons (e.g., medical emergency) where we may reschedule or partially refund. Refund method, timing & fees

  • Method: Refunds are paid only to the original payment method (anti-fraud).

  • Timing: I process approved refunds within 14 days (target 7 business days). Bank/processor timelines are outside my control.

  • Blockchain/network fees (NFTs): Gas and third-party platform fees are not refundable unless required by law.

  • Currency conversion/foreign fees: Determined by your bank/processor and not controlled by me.

  • Proof: For NFTs I record the transaction hash; for digital items I record access logs; for services I keep scheduling/performance records.

Delivery definitions (clarity)

  • Consultation: performed at your booked time (or as later agreed).

  • Reports/Roadmaps/Templates/Tutorials: delivered when access or file is supplied.

  • NFTs: delivered when minted/transferred to the wallet address you provided/confirmed; the transaction hash is delivery proof. You are responsible for your wallet access and accuracy of the address supplied.

Chargebacks (cards)

Please contact support@michaelddev.com first — I resolve most issues by re-delivery/repair or (if applicable) refund. If you file a chargeback after :

a) valid refusal of your refund request under these policies ( Consult the privacy policy, terms & conditions policy and/or cookie policy to be informed at all times, continued usage of this website means acceptance of all. )

b) I show delivery/performance proof and your checkout consents (e.g., early-supply waiver), I will dispute the chargeback with the issuer. The card issuer/network makes the final decision.

  • Withdrawal: 14 days (Section 3.1). Early performance → proportionate amount due; after full performance, no withdrawal.

Security & Risk Assessment Reports

(desk-based)

  • Treated as digital content. If you request immediate supply and I deliver, no withdrawal thereafter unless proven that the service was not provided as described or at all. In some cases I may issue refunds if I deem appropriate and buyer is not satisfied with result.

Tutorials / paid video access

  • Digital content; immediate access with your consent waives withdrawal after access begins.

  • Access is personal; hosting relies on third-party platforms’ uptime/policies.

NFTs / Digital collectible art (my work)

  • Digital content; all sales final once delivered (after required consents), except failure to supply or non-conformity → re-deliver/repair → refund if impossible.

  • Royalties on secondary sales may apply where supported; enforcement depends on marketplace/protocol.

Security Testing (audits/pentests)

  • Delivered only under a separate SOW/contract setting scope, milestones, acceptance, IP, fees, and specific warranty/remedy terms. B2B rules typically apply; consumer withdrawal does not apply to SOW-only engagements.

  • Withdrawal / Refund / Cancellation / Reschedule: email support@michaelddev.com.

  • Please include: full name, email used at checkout, order/booking ID, service/item name, and your request type (Withdrawal, Refund, Cancellation,Complaint or Reschedule). For refunds optionally, add a brief reason and any evidence (screenshots, links, TX hash).

ADR & law

If a dispute remains, you may contact the Consumer Mediation Service (Belgium) for Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR). I consider ADR invitations in good faith.
This Policy is governed by Belgian law, without prejudice to any mandatory, non-waivable consumer protections that apply to you when I direct my activities to your country.
